Lorraine Schuchart, APR is the founder of Prosper for Purpose, the brand strategy and public relations firm she launched in 2013.

 

Previously, Lorraine worked in advertising and public relations, writing for brands including Jeep, Nabisco, Owens Corning, the Dana Corporation, La-Z-Boy, and the American Cancer Society. For 10 years, she led communications and PR efforts for an organization focused on social justice and service. Her experience also includes leading PR and community outreach for a Fortune 1000 retail company.

 

Lorraine’s vision for a company that could blend the passionate purpose of a nonprofit with the strategic approach of a profitable business was launched in the form of Prosper for Purpose in January 2013. Three years later, Prosper for Purpose became a Certified B Corporation. B Corps meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability, and aspire to use the power of markets to solve social and environmental problems.

 

Lorraine resides in Cleveland Heights, Ohio with her husband, portrait, and landscape artist Robert Hartshorn. She is the mother of two daughters. Her household includes two dogs and two cats.
